March is out like a lion

Ah March.
A month of change- often very quick with the skies full of threatening clouds replaced moments later with pure sunshine. The month when, try as you might, you will get wet on a walk sooner or later. And often very wet.

But March is the month when we can begin to relax with the extra hours of daylight, when the depths of winter seem to be past. Even if we have some unwelcome snow or cold temperatures. The plants hasten their awakenings and seem to grow before our eyes.

March is supposed to come in like a lion and out like a lamb or so says the nursery rhyme. But this month, we ended it with a bit of lion's roar with several days of wind and heavy rain. And still moments of pure sunshine.

Hasn't it been wild!?
I've had lots of soakers this month and even felt the rain trickling down the back of my neck - no fun when it's so cold!
Here's hoping that April will be balmy!
